How to Grill Baby Back Ribs
Baby back ribs are ideal for barbeque grills because they are able to withstand direct cooking heat unlike other types of ribs that need to be slow cooked. Listed below is a step by step guide for how to grill baby back ribs:
- Prepare the Ribs: Depending on your taste preference you may or may not want to season your ribs before grilling. Some people choose to either prepare their ribs with a dry rub while some choose to sprinkle seasoning over their ribs. Many people however choose to do nothing to prepare their ribs not wanting to compromise the natural flavors of the meat. Ribs should be at or near room temperature before the grilling begins but be sure not to leave them out in the refrigerator for longer than 1 hour.
- Heat the Grill: Preheat the grill to medium.
- Let the Grilling Begin: Brush the grill grate with oil and then place the rack of ribs directly onto the grill with the bone side facing down and let grill until it is brown, usually about 35 minutes. Turn ribs to cook meat side down and keep them there until the meat is browned on that side as well about 25 minutes. Once each side is golden brown the ribs are finished and ready to be devoured.
